According to a recent report by India Today, Okinawa Scooters has launched Lite slow speed electric scooter in India which is priced at Rs 59,990 (ex-showroom). It is available in Sparkle White and Sparkle Blue color options.
Targeted at the youth and women
The company said that the scooter is targeted at the youth and women. The electric scooter is 1,790 mm in length, 710 mm in width and 1,190 mm in height. The seat height and ground clearance are 740 mm and 160 mm, respectively. It is equipped with a telescopic suspension upfront and dual tube spring type hydraulic shockers at the rear. It also has a 10-inch aluminum alloy with a disc at the front and drum at the rear.
Okinawa Lite e-scooter has a 250-watt BLDC motor. It is equipped with a detachable 1.25 kWh lithium-ion battery with an anti-theft battery lock. The motor and battery have a three-year warranty. The maximum speed of the new Lite is 25 kmph, while the claimed range is 50-60 km per charge.
The new scooter has an LED projector lamp with Daytime running lights (DRL) and it comes with auto handle lock, auto motor lock, mobile charging, power switch, and hazard features.
