Apple has launched Beats Solo Pro on-ear noise-cancelling headphone in US. It will sell the headphones at $299.95 (Rs 21,373 approx) through its website.

Luke Wood, president of Beats by Dre said, “The Solo form factor is incredibly popular, with over 30 million sold to date. Beats created Solo Pro to bring much needed innovation to the on-ear headphone market. With phenomenal acoustics, multiple listening modes and a progressive design, Solo Pro joins recently launched Powerbeats Pro as part of the next generation of Beats products.”

Pure Adaptive Noise Cancelling

As per the company, the headphones come with two beam-forming microphones and an updated speech-detecting accelerometer. The headphones have Pure Adaptive Noise Cancelling (Pure ANC) technology in them. This technology detects and blocks ambient noise in crowded and noisy places as per Beats by Dre.

An official statement from Beats by Dre said, “Pure ANC also evaluates fit and adjusts for leakage caused by hair, earrings, different ear shapes and movement of your head as you go about the day. Additionally, it simultaneously checks what you’re hearing while noise cancelling is applied against the original music content to ensure impressive audio fidelity.”

Fast fuel charging

Beats claims the headphones come with Fast Fuel charging that will give the user up to three hours of playback with a 10-minute charge using the lightning cable. With the Pure ANC feature, the headphone will give playback of up to 22 hours.

The Pure ANC with transparency feature will give a playback time of up to 40 hours. The headphones have Apple’s Audio sharing feature and are powered by Apple W1 and H1 chips. Apple will sell the headphones in black, ivory, gray, dark blue, light blue and red colours.

Beat says the Solo Pro headphone comes with intuitive controls. The headphones can be switched on by unfolding the headphones and powered off by folding it back. The headphone has multi-control functions on the right earcup that will let users answer or end calls , play music, skip songs or control volume and activate voice command without reaching the device as per Beat.
