Huawei Launches Nova 6 and Nova 6 5G

Huawei has launched the Nova 6 smartphone. The phone comes in 4G and 5G variants. The company will be selling the Nova 6 ( 8GB with 128GB storage) at 3,199 Yuan ( Rs 32,398 approx). It has priced the Nova 6 5G with 8GB and 128GB storage at 3,799 Yuan ( Rs 38,461 approx) and the 8GB and 256GB variant at 4,199 Yuan (Rs 42,523 approx).

The Huawei Nova 6 has a 16.68 cm (6.57-inch) display with a 2400 x 1080 resolution. The 4G model is powered by Kirin 990 processor. The 5G variant is powered by the Kirin 990 (5G) which has an integrated Balong 5000 modem within the chip for 5G connectivity in the phone. The phone also has a a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

40W super fast charging

Huawei Nova 6 4G is powered by a 4100mAh battery and the 5G variant has 4200mAh battery. Both the variants provide support for 40W super fast charging which can charge the phone from 0 to 70 per cent within 30 minutes as per Huawei. It runs on EMUI 10 based on Android 10.

Dual front-facing cameras

The phone has dual front-facing cameras with a 32MP primary lens and a 12MP ultra wide sensor. The 5G model has a f/2.2 aperture lens and the 4G model has a f/2.0 aperture. At the back, the phone has a triple rear camera setup with a 40MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 8MP lens with f/2.4 aperture telephoto lens and a 8MP ultra wide lens with f/2.4 aperture.

On the connectivity front, the phone supports 5G SA/NSA (optional), dual SIM, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band WiFi support and USB Type-C. It measures 162.6mm x 75.7mm x 8.56 mm and weighs 197 grams.
