Huawei launched the Watch GT 2e smartwatch along with the Huawei P40 series. It has priced the Watch GT 2e at EUR 199 (approx. Rs 16,800). It has also introduced a new variant of Huawei Watch GT 2 with 42mm in frosty white and chestnut red colour. They will cost EUR 229 (approx. Rs 18,700) and EUR 249 (approx. Rs 20,500).
The Huawei Watch GT 2e comes with 15 professional workout modes including eight outdoor activities and seven indoor activities. The company said that it can track 190 types of data in the professional workout mode. it also comes with real-time notification for SMS, calls, emails. It is equipped with weather forecast feature, alarms, timer and flashlight.
Sleep monitoring
The smartwatch also has a blood oxygen saturation or SpO2 monitor with heart rate monitoring. It alerts the user of abnormal heart rate. It also comes with pressure level monitoring and sleep monitoring. The smartwatch comes with a 3.53 cm (1.39-inch) AMOLED touch display with a screen resolution of 454 x 454 pixels.
5ATM certification
It is powered by Kirin A1 chip and has 4GB of internal memory. It supports Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity options. The watch comes with 5ATM certification and can come be submerged in water up to 50 metres. Huawei claims that the smartwatch gives 14 days of battery life. It is equipped with built-in GPS for tracking and accelerometer, gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, optical heart rate sensor, ambient light sensor, air pressure sensor, capacitive sensor.
