According to a report by XDA Developers, Oppo will launch the Find X2 smartphone in the first quarter of 2020. As per the report, the smartphone will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC.
The report also said that that Oppo has collaborated with Sony to create a larger sensor size for better light sensitivity. It may use Sony’s 2×2 on-chip lens solution which features ‘All Pixel Omni-direction PDAF’ technology. As per the report, the technology improves the overall focus performance and helps in high-speed auto-focus using phase differences.
Find X launched last year
The upcoming smartphone will have better display resolution, refresh rate, colours and dynamic range with respect to its competitors claimed the report. Oppo has launched the Find X in December 2018. It has a 16.30 cm (6.42-inch) AMOLED Full HD+ display with 2340 x 1080 resolution and aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It is powered by 2.5GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with Adreno 630 GPU. It has 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
The phone is backed by a 3730mAh battery with VOOC flash charge fast charging that gives two hours of talk time with five minutes of charge as per Oppo. It has a dual rear camera setup with a 16MP primary sensor with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, optical image stabilisation, phase detection auto-focus, dual-tone LED flash and 20MP secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture. At the front, it has a 25MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling.
