Samsung has announced availability of Android 10 features on select Galaxy smartphones in select countries. Announced under One UI Beta program, it is not clear whether the company will be releasing the updates before Android 10’s official release in India or not.

“Designed to simplify and streamline interactions, One UI has brought a unified mobile experience to Galaxy devices. Since its launch, Samsung has been refining the UX, while also expanding its capabilities to help users focus on the tasks that matter. Features are further enhanced to make the experience more natural, seamless and efficient. Below are a few key features of One UI and Android 10 we are excited for users to test on the Galaxy S10,” read Samsung’s official statement.

It is to be noted here that Galaxy S10 is one of the most expensive smartphones to be launched by Samsung in its global markets. It is generally seen as a competitor to Apple smartphones and devices that Google retails under the Pixel brand.

The company recently launched Samsung Finance+ in India

Following strong competition in the market, it seems as if the Korea-based smartphone company is not leaving any stone upturned to maintain its global leadership position in the smartphone space. Recently it launched Samsung Finance+ in India. Under this program Samsung is facilitating smartphone buying on EMIs for Indian consumers.

“At Samsung, consumers are at the heart of everything we do. Samsung Finance+ is a testimony of our consumer-centric innovation. It is also a ‘Make for India’ initiative towards financial inclusion and Digital India. We are confident that Samsung Finance+ will touch the lives of millions of consumers in India,” said Mohandeep Singh, SVP, Mobile Business, Samsung India. He was speaking about the launch of Samsung’s finance program in India.

Interestingly, the trend of buying smartphones on EMI’s is one of fastest picking ones in India. A lot of retailers in the country have told EFY that digital payments and EMI transactions are increasing at their showrooms.
