Samsung Announces Galaxy A31 Smartphone

Samsung has announced the launch of Galaxy A31 smartphone in the Galaxy A-series. It has not yet revealed the price and availability of the smartphone. The company will sell the phone in prism crush blue, prism crush red, prism crush white colour options.

The phone comes with a 16.25 cm (6.4-inch) Full HD+ Infinity-U Super AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio P65 processor along with Mali-G52 GPU. The phone comes with 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage and 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage. It can be expanded up to 512GB via microSD card slot.

Quad-camera setup

The A31 comes with a quad-camera setup at the back. It includes a 48MP primary lens with f/1.2 aperture, 8MP wide-angle lens with 123-degree FoV and a 5MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture and a 5-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. At the front, there is a 20MP selfie shooter with f/2.2 aperture.

The phone is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. It runs on Android 10 operating system and it comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. In terms of connectivity, it supports dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5, GPS, GLONASS, Samsung Pay, dual-SIM, and USB Type-C port.
