Sony has launched Xperia 1 Professional Edition smartphone in Japan. It will be selling the phone at a price of JPY 143,000 (approx. Rs 93,400) from 25th October.
The phone has a 16.51 cm (6.5-inch) 4K HDR Optical Light Emitting Diode (OLED) display with a screen resolution of 3840 x 1644 pixels. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie and is powered by a 3300mAh battery with Qnovo adaptive charging quick charge 3.0 and Qi wireless charging.
Imaging Edge Mobile app
As per Sony, the phone comes with preinstalled Imaging Edge Mobile app which allows users to wirelessly transfer images and videos from Sony cameras to the phone. It also hasTransfer & Tagging add-on which allows photographers to input tags and voice captions to photos.
It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset along with Adreno 640 GPU. It is backed by a 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 512GB by microSD card slot says Sony.
Triple rear camera setup
The phone has a triple rear camera setup with a 12-megapixel primary Exmor RS for mobile sensor with an f/1.6, 78-degree lens with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) photo and hybrid OIS and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) video stabilisation support.
There is a 12-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.4, 135-degree wide-angle lens and a 12-megapixel tertiary sensor with an f/2.4, 45-degree, telephoto lens. It has a 8MP camera at the front with 1/4 sensor size, 1.12μm, 84-degree wide-angle and f/2.0 aperture.
