Xiaomi has launched two security cameras, the Mi Smart Camera PTZ and the PTZ Pro as a part of its AIoT product lineup. It has priced the Mi Smart Camera PTZ is priced at RMB 199 (approx Rs 2,150) and the Mi Smart Camera PTZ Pro at RMB 249 (approx Rs 2,700). They might be made available in India soon.
The cameras can be used to remotely monitor homes. The Mi Smart Camera PTZ has a 3MP camera with an f/1.4 aperture. It is capable of recording in low light and captures video with full colours. It can also record 2K videos. It also features a 6P lens and offers a 360-degree field of view.
The Mi Smart Camera PTZ Pro comes with a 3MP camera and supports AI human detection. It also comes with panorama sweep feature with a 360-degree field of view. It supports dual-band WiFi (2.4GHz + 5GHz).
Mijia Internet Washing Machine & Dryer 1C
Xiaomi recently launched the Mijia Internet Washing Machine & Dryer 1C in China. It is priced at CNY 2,099 (approx Rs 21,000) and will go on sale from 9th April 2020.
The washing machine comes with support from XiaoAI voice control virtual assistant. It has a door diameter of 468mm and a power cycle of 0.873 kWh. It also comes with up to 22 different washing modes including smart air-washing. The report said that the user will be able to reserve the laundry and drying clothes in advance through the Mijia app. The user can make custom adjustments and save their favourite washing methods as well.
