Xiaomi has launched the Redmi K30 Pro 5G smartphone in China. It will be selling the phone in two variants of 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage in four colour options of moonlight white, sky blue, purple, and space grey colours. Xiaomi has not revealed when it will launch the phone in India.
The company has priced the phone at CNY 2,999 ( Rs 32,000) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model. It will sell the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant at RMB 3299 (approx Rs 35,530) and the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model at RMB 3,699 (approximately Rs 39,840).
The Redmi K30 Pro comes with a 16.94 cm (6.67-inch) Super AMOLED display with HDR10+ support and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. It is powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 865 SoC and supports UFS 3.1 storage for faster file transfer.
Vapor chamber (VC) liquid cooling system
The phone has a pop-up selfie camera setup and a quad-camera setup at the back. This includes a 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor, 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera, an 8MP telephoto camera, and a 5MP sensor. It also supports saving still images in HEIF file format.
The Redmi K30 Pro supports the vapor chamber (VC) liquid cooling system to dissipate heat. It has a 3.5mm audio jack and an infrared (IR) blaster. The phone is powered by a 4,500mAh battery which supports 33W fast charging technology. It supports dual-mode 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, NFC, USB Type-C.
