Xiaomi Launches Redmi K30 Smartphone With 5G Support

Xiaomi has launched the Redmi K30 smartphone with 5G support in China. It will be selling the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage model of the phone at 1,999 Yuan (approx Rs 20,140), the 8GB with 128GB variant at 2,299 Yuan (approx Rs 23,160) and the 12GB and 256GB model at 2,599 Yuan (approx Rs 26,189). The company will be selling the 4GB version of the phone for 1,599 Yuan (approx Rs 16,100). It is expected that the phone will be launched in India soon.

4,500mAh battery

The Redmi K30 is a successor to the Redmi K20 phone that was launched in India in the month of July. The phone has a 16.94 cm (6.67-inch) display with 120Hz refresh rate, and 20:9 aspect ratio. It has a dual-punch hole design and has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It also has a 12-antenna design and has dual-frequency GPS support. It is powered by a 4,500mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging technology.

Two cameras at the front

The phone is backed by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 SoC with 5G support. It works on Android 10 with MIUI 11 out-of-the-box. It has a quad rear camera setup with a 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor, 2MP primary sensor, 5MP sensor and an 8MP camera. At the front, it has a dual- camera setting with a 20MP camera backed by AI features and a 2MP depth sensor.
