Fujifilm has added one more brand ambassador for its range of cameras in India. The company has announced appointment of celebrity and fashion Photographer, Jatin Kampani as their brand ambassador for promoting its X Series range of cameras.
Haruto Iwata, Managing Director, Fujifilm India Pvt. Ltd. said, “We at Fujifilm have always kept the consumer at the center for all our decisions. Our association with Mr. Jatin Kampani, India’s most renowned fashion and celebrity photographer resonates with our brand values and will connect with the generation of camera enthusiasts today. We are really excited to have him as the face of the Fujifilm X Series range and are looking forward to a wonderful journey together.”
Fujifilm’s official statement read, “This new relationship will not only help Fujifilm further enhance its positioning in the camera industry but also amplify the awareness and excitement around the X series range of mirror less cameras.”
Aiming 30 per cent market share in the Indian mirror less cameras market
The company said that it is aiming to strengthen its presence in the mirror less segment and plans to achieve a 30 per cent market share in the Indian mirror less market in the coming years. As part of this partnership, Fujifilm India will also be rolling out various brand-building initiatives with Jatin Kampani for its camera range.
Fujifilm had earlier collaborated with Alia Bhatt and Daboo Ratnani in India as well. While Alia Bhatt is the brand ambassador for Fujifilm’s Instax range of cameras, Daboo Ratnani promotes company’s GFX mirror-less cameras in India.
Alia has a fan following of around 60 million across different social media handles. Daboo Ratnani has a following of 1.7 million accounts on Twitter alone. His fan following on Instagram is 1.4 million strong. Jatin Kampani has a fan following of around 27,000 on Instagram.
