Oppo Brings Punjab Music Festival to Attract Millenials

China based smartphone maker Oppo is to present Straight Up Punjab music festival which will be streamed across India, UK, USA, Canada and Australia via Sony music India’s YouTube channel. The company claims that this will be a one of a kind YouTube Original that will bring the best of Punjabi music talent on one common stage.

The company will host the music festival Five October 2019 KD Jadhav indoor hall, Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, New Delhi and feature performances from big names like Badshah, Neha Kakkar, Raftaar, Sukhbir and others.

Bollywood biggies as brand icons

Oppo India has recently roped in leading Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor as the brand icon for its Reno series. The smartphone maker has also roped in Katrina Kaif and Badshah as the brand friends for its Reno series smartphones.

Growth of 41 per cent in Q2 of 2019

As per a recent report by IDC, Oppo registered a healthy growth of 41 per cent in Q2, 2019. It has also been adjudged as the number one smartphone brand for after sales services in India as per Counterpoint Research. In 2017, Oppo was ranked as the number 4 smartphone brand globally, according to IDC. Oppo claims it has more than 200 million users and its business has covered 40 countries and regions with 400,000 stores and has 4 R&D centers worldwide.
