Ottomate Launches its First TVC Campaign For Smart Fans

Ottomate International, India’s home-grown smart and innovative consumer electronics brand, today announced the launch of its first TVC campaign featuring the Ottomate smart fans. Conceptualized around the theme of “ek baar so gae toh baar baar uthna na pade, hai na common sense ki baat”, the TVC emphasizes how the Ottomate smart fans ensure ease of use and does away from the constant nag of having to get up and regulate the fan speed.

Commenting on the TVC campaign launch, Vishal Sehgal Co-founder and CEO of Ottomate International said, “We want to make homes engaging and intuitive. Our products have been designed to make everyday lives better and easier. The smart features in our fans are all common sense innovations which will significantly improve the experience of using a fan. With ‘Common sense lagao, Ottomate lagao’, we aim to ensure that Ottomate with its features becomes the choice of the people across the country, since it’s something that everybody has always wished for.”

The TVC primarily focuses on the narrative of making a consumer’s life easy and un-complicating the simple yet small tasks. It ends with the tagline, “Common sense lagao, Ottomate lagao.” The campaign is set to run across various major television channels in four different languages – Malayali, Marathi, Tamil and Hindi.

Ottomate smart fan features

The company is claiming that its latest offering in the smart fan segment can be connected to smartphones or tablets via Ottomate app. Ottomate is also retailing a smart remote, but as a separate accessory.

Ottomate’s first smart fan in India features manual, Otto, breeze and turbo modes. While manual mode, as per the company allows users to set the fan speed as per their need, the Otto mode, puts fans on the automatic mode.

Ottomate claims to have a service network of more than 100 centers across India. It website claims that Qualcomm, ST, Texas Instruments and Toshiba as its technology partners. Ottomate’s product portfolio on its website also showcases exhaust and oscillating fans.

Sehgal, in a recent interaction with Electronics For You had said, “Smart fan is just our first offering. Once we see the adoption of Bluetooth mesh technology grow, we are planning to introduce an entire ecosystem of products. The potential for IoT in India is huge. Once we identify the right technology to enable it, the possibilities are endless.”
