Vistar comfort air purifierIndian Institute of Technology, Madras (IITM) incubated clean tech start-up, Air Ok Technologies has launched Vistar Comfort purifier in India. It has priced the air purifiers within the range of Rs. 25,000 and Rs two lacs based on different features and capabilities and is selling it now in offline stores. It will make the air purifier available online soon.
Air Ok Technologies says that the filter draws its power from indigenously made patented technology of EGAPA (Efficient Granular Adsorbent Particulate Arrester). The filter comes built with special media to absorb carbon dioxide (CO2) and many other acidic gases in the air to make the workplace atmosphere clean and healthy claims the company.
Wi-Fi and cloud connectivity
Vishesh Kaul, head, sales and operations, Air Ok Technologies said, “Increased levels of carbon dioxide adversely impact the people, including their thinking capabilities, energy levels and more. Besides providing a comforting air-conditioned environment, it is also necessary for companies to improve the quality of indoor air that allows employees to be more active and participative in business activities.”
The purifier comes with uni-touch Interface through which the user can control the device easily as per the company. It has Wi-Fi and cloud connectivity and users can also control the functions through a mobile application. It requires filter replacement in every 8-12 months depending upon the carbon dioxide concentration levels.
