Philips has launched a new series of budget air purifiers – Philips 800 series in India. It has a portfolio of air purifiers ranging from Rs 8,995 to Rs 74,995.
Can remove 99.95 per cent Nano-sized particles
It has an Intelligent auto purification mode and smart sensing technology to detect changes in the air. As per the company, it can remove 99.95 per cent Nano-sized particles at 0.003um, including PM2.5, dust and car emission. The company also claims that the Philips 800 series air purifiers have been developed to ease asthma and allergy symptoms in children and adults.
“Indoor air pollution is even worse than outdoor and has become a year-round problem. This has led to air purifiers becoming a necessity for every Indian household,” said Gulbahar Taurani, vice-president, Personal Health, Philips Indian Subcontinent.
The company said that the ideal room size for using Philips 800 series air purifier is 20m square. It comes with a 3D air circulation system, allowing the purifier to operate at 34db(A) to make less noise. It has a 4- step color indication for real-time air quality – Red being very bad.
