Sharp Announces Four New J Series Air Purifiers in India

Sharp will be using its online and offline sales and distribution channels to sell its latest air-purifiers. One of these will be sold exclusively through Vestige Marketing

Sharp has announced the launch of four new room air purifiers in India. Launched under the Sharp J-Series tag, the company has priced the FP-J30M-B air purifier at Rs 19,250, Sharp FP-J40M-W at Rs 27,000 and Sharp FP-J60M-W at Rs 35,000. Sharp FP-J80M-H at Rs 39,000 is the most expansive in the series.

Huvendu Mazumdar, national manager, Sharp, said, “While the Indian market is flooded with OEM products sold by reputed brands, SHARP original design Made in Thailand J series offers Superior built quality, premium Electrical Safety, super high air flow with low noise as some of the added benefits.”

The brand will be using its online and offline sales and distribution channels to sell these latest air-purifiers. However, Sharp FP-J30M-B air purifier will be exclusively available through Vestige Marketing Private Limited.

Sharp J-series air purifier features

Sharp J Series, as claimed by the brand, deploys the high-density ‘Active Plasmacluster Technology’ combined with Passive Mechanical Filtration Systems (PM10 Pre Filter, Carbon Filter & H14 Grade True HEPA Filter) to trap and eliminate the harmful substances.

An official statement by the brand read, “IEC Japan and British Allergy Foundation Seal of Approval confirms the safety & effectiveness of the Purification process along with 29 other global labs. It is also proven through IEC, Japan Safety Standards of EN1822 that the SHARP Plasmacluster Technology doesn’t produce any harmful Ozone during the Purification process.”

The company says that ‘Haze Mode’ in SHARP J Series air purifiers offer purification against poisonous substances including Toluene, Benzene, NOx and Sox. It works by using the plasmacluster, HEPA & Carbon Filters along with strong airflow and suction.

Interactive panels on SHARP J Series air purifiers display wattage consumed, PM2.5 levels (only on J60 & J80), odor and dust levels. A light sensor ensures that panel lights switch off as soon as the room lights are turned off.
