Company’s official statement read, “With the launch of the latest product, the company aims to strengthen its presence and to expand its air purifier range by bringing convenience and enhanced comfort this summer.”
The company claims that its latest air purifier helps reduce allergic symptoms and saves electricity at the same time. Interestingly, Philips, LG and Sharp are the only companies offering air-purifiers with in-built humidifiers in India. Sharp had also launched a air-purifier with mosquito catcher in the past.
Sharp KC-G40M air purifier features
Sharp KC-G40M Air Purifier comes equipped with passive HEPA and PANDAA filter combination. This filter combination, as claimed by the company, eliminates PM 2.5, pollen, other gaseous substances such as Toluene, Ethyl, Benzene and haze compounds from air. It also uses Sharp’s Active Plasmacluster Technology.
Sharp’s official statement read, “What makes KC-G40M unique from others, is its Humidifying function, which ensures comfortable humidity level through natural evaporation technique, helpful in maintaining body hydration, thus reducing skin, eye, throat dryness, and sinus issues.”
KC-G40M comes equipped with washable fine-meshed PMb10 filters. The PANDAA filter and the HEPA filters offer rated life of up to five years. In terms of room specifications, Sharp is saying that KC-G40M is recommended for a room with dimensions of up to 350 square feet.
The company is retailing this air purifier in India with one year onsite warranty. It has been priced Rs 33,000 in India.
