According to a recent report by Mobile Indian, Xiaomi has announced the launch of Mi Air Purifier 3. The new Air purifier is priced at Rs 9,999 with the filter available for Rs 2,199 on Mi.com.The company launched Mi Air Purifier 2S last year.
The company claims that it has a CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) of 380m³/h which makes it capable of delivering 6333 litres of purified air every minute with a coverage area of up to 484ft2. Also, the 360° cylindrical filter design allows the suction of air from all directions.
Mi Air Purifier 3 features triple-layer filtration which includes a primary filter, a true HEPA filter, and an activated carbon filter. It has a touch-enabled OLED display which shows the AQI (Air Quality Index) in real-time. It also features an OLED touch display which allows users to check the PM 2.5 levels, temperature, humidity, and Wifi connection. The Purifier can be connected to the Mi Home app allowing real-time AQI monitoring over the air.
The new purifier is equipped with 3 layers compose filtration with a true HEPA filter. The primary filter removes large airborne particles such as dust and hair. The second true HEPA Filter eliminates 99.97 per cent of smoke, household dust and other fine particles with up to 0.3 microns size. The third Activated Carbon Filter removes formaldehyde, toxic substances, and foul smell.
