Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 and Asus Zenfone Max M2 Launched in India

Asus is targeting the mid-range smartphone segment with these launches. Brands including the likes of Xiaomi and Realme have a strong presence in this category in India

Smartphone maker Asus has announced the launch of Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 and Asus Zenfone Max M2 in India. The company claims that the Asus Max Pro M2 is the first phone to bring Gorilla Glass 6 to affordable smartphones segment.

A tweet made through the official Asus Twitter handle read, “Zenfone Max Pro M2 and the Zenfone Max M2 will be on sale starting 18th December and 20th December respectively, exclusively on Flipkart.”

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 and Asus Zenfone Max M2 price

The 3/32GB variant of the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 is priced at Rs 12,999 in the country, whereas the 4/64GB variant is priced Rs 14,999, and the 6/64GB variant has been priced at Rs 16,999. The more affordable of the two launches, Asus Zenfone Max M2 has been priced at Rs 9,999 for the 3/32 GB variant whereas the 4/64GB variant has been priced at Rs 11,999.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 and Asus Zenfone Max M2 features

The ZenFone Max Pro M2 features a glass finish on the back. Asus claims that it is the first smartphone under Rs 20,000 to feature Corning Gorilla Glass 6.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 features a notch design on the display. This notch space incorporates proximity sensors, ambient sensor, camera, LED flash, notification light and earpiece. Asus has mated the Max Pro M2 with a 14nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chip. This latest smartphone from Asus gets 12 MP primary and 5 MP depth sensor at the back and a 13 MP sensor at the front.

ASUS Zenfone Max M2, on the other hand, comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor. It has a 13 MP camera along with a LED flash on the front and a 13 MP primary sensor with a 2 MP depth sensor at the back.
