The new BenQ LK Series are the first 4K HDR projectors designed for business with razor-sharp resolution, says the company

The projector ain’t dead – says BenQ. When it comes to business applications or presentations, projectors deliver a larger screen at a lower cost-per-inch compared to flat panels, without sacrificing picture quality.

Keeping this in mind, BenQ has introduced its first Blue Core laser-powered 4K HDR business projectors – LK952, LK953ST – priced at $5,199 and $6,499 respectively.

Designed for 4K meetings, these displays allow users to take advantage of the latest 4K MacBooks and PCs, says the company, adding “so what users see on their computer screens is what they get on the big screen.”

The new BenQ LK Series are the first 4K HDR projectors designed for business with razor-sharp resolution, it claims.

Key LK Series features include: single-DMD chip DLP, 4K UHD HDR 3840 x 2160 resolution with 8.3 million pixels and 5,000 lumens, IP5X zero-dust rating with BenQ’s Dust Guard Pro.

In addition, the company claims 20,000 hours of maintenance-free operation (no lamps). It also ensures installation flexibility with horizontal and vertical lens shift and 360-degree rotation.

It is also claimed that the LK953ST can offer short-throw performance for even, great placement flexibility closer to screen. The projectors are now available for purchase on official store of BenQ, BenQDirect.

BenQ’s InstaShow WDC20 Wireless Presentation System

The company has also announced InstaShow WDC20, a plug-and-play presentation system that wirelessly connects a user’s computer to a central display or projector.

“The system is compatible with all mobile devices and operating systems, and works with any display with an HDMI port including BenQ’s projectors, interactive flat panels and monitors,” BenQ says in a release.

Described as an ideal presentation solution for any meeting room or collaboration space, the new InstaShow WDC20 supports mobile devices and up to four different split screens.

WDC20 is slated to be released in February with a price tag of Price $999. It will available on BenQDirect, Amazon, B&H, and other retailers.
