Joining the wireless earbuds trend wagon, consumer electronics brand Boat, has announced the launch of its Airdopes 211 wireless earbuds in the country. Boat will be retailing these Bluetooth wireless earbuds through Amazon India. These have been announced at a price of Rs 2,499 in the country.
The brand has said that all the Airdopes 211 wireless earbud shipments will also include a portable charging case. This charging case, as per the brand, will act as an additional battery backup for the earbuds.
Bluetooth wireless earbuds price wars

Announced at a price of Rs 2,499, these Airdopes 211 wireless earbuds, will be competing against wireless earbuds offers by the likes of Ptron, Anker, Hammer and Noise in India.
All of these brands are offering wireless earbuds at prices above Rs 2,000. Interestingly, a brand that goes by the name of Resonance, is offering wireless earbuds at Rs 999 on a popular e-commerce portal in India.
Boat 211 wireless earbuds features
The Boat Airdopes 211 come equipped with a 45 mAh battery each. Boat’s offering a charging case that can provide an additional battery life of 450 mAh. The brand claims that the battery can offer up to 2.5 hours of playback time on one charge. The charging case can be charged through a Micro-USB port.
Boat Airdopes 211 earbuds are powered by Bluetooth 4.1. These feature eight mm dynamic drivers. Rated IPX4, the brand claims that these are dust and sweat resistant, and weigh 11 grams. A capacitive touch button on the side of each earbud can help control playback and volume.
