Tech company Google has launched a new series of TWS products called the Pixel Buds A-Series.

Priced at Rs 9,999, the Pixel Buds A-Series come with custom-designed 12mm dynamic speaker drivers with Bass Boost along with a spatial vent that Google says reduces in-ear pressure. Each earbud connects individually to the main device.

Google has incorporated some hardware and software features in the earbuds, including Adaptive Sound, which increases or decreases the volume based on surroundings and beamforming mics to focus on the voice.

It also allows users to switch back to their music after call with an “Ok Google, play my music” command.

Features like in-built Google Assistant to help users get weather updates, get an answer, change the volume, or have notifications read out with an “Ok Google” command are also promised.

It also offers real-time translation in more than 40 languages, including Bengali, Hindi, and Tamil while using a Google Pixel device or an Android phone running Android 6.0 and above version.

In the US, it will cost USD 449 (roughly Rs 33,000), which is USD 50 less than the Pixel 4A 5G’s introductory price. The 5A will go on sale in the US and Japan on August 26.

Users can also start a conversation by saying “Ok Google, help me speak (name of the language)”.

The Pixel Buds A-Series comes in the Clearly White color with grey undertones and is claimed to offer a listening time of 5 hours on a single charge or up to 24 hours using the charging case.

Moreover, a quick 15 minutes rest in the charging case provides users up to three hours of listening time, Google said. The earbuds are sweat and water-resistant.

It will be available for purchase starting Wednesday, 25 August 2021 at Flipkart, Reliance Digital, and Tata Cliq, and will be coming to more retail outlets.
