In a bid to expand its successful wireless Harmonics earbuds series, Portronics has launched Harmonics Twins II in India. The company is retailing these at a price of Rs 3,999 from both online and offline stores.
“These earbuds have soft and superior touch controls allowing one to regulate their calls, play and pause their music as well as to navigate to the voice assistant on their smartphones,” read Portronics’ official statement.
The global earphones & headphones market size, as per a report by Grand View Research, was valued at $10.52 billion in 2018 and is expected to register a CAGR of 5.9 per cent over the 2019 to 2025. Rising popularity and adoption of smartphones, tablets, laptops, portable music players, and other mobile devices is expected to have a positive impact on the industry growth.
12 hours of playback time
These earbuds feature Bluetooth 5.0. The connectivity distance offered with these is limited to a maximum of 10 m or 33-feet. It also promises acoustic echo reduction technology.
“Available in three-different sizes, these earbuds are extremely comfortable and can be worn all day long without causing any discomfort. These buds are sweat and splash-proof with IPX4 rating. Harmonics Twins II offer truly authentic stereo sound with powerful bass performance,” read the official statement.
It continued, “It boasts of True Wireless Stereo (TWS) sound that offers seamless wireless connectivity of the earbuds through Bluetooth without the hassles of wires and helps in sharing music listening experience with friends. The newly launched Twins II sits comfortably in the compact case; ideal to fit in your pocket. It also boasts of an LED light indicator for the charging status of the buds. Harmonics Twins II has an inbuilt 380 mAh battery while the earphone packs a 40 mAh inbuilt battery that can produce a total of 12 hours of playback time.”
