Riversong has announced its entry into the wireless headsets category in India. Dubbed Riversong Array L, the company has priced its first in-ear Bluetooth powered headset at a price of Rs 999 here. However, the company, as a promotional offer, is retailing it for a price of Rs 699 currently.
Manvendra K Chandola, CEO of Riversong India, said, “We are happy to launch the latest wireless Bluetooth headset, Array L in the Indian market. We have extensive expansion plans for the Indian market and we will soon be entering new verticals. Understanding the consumer needs, we feel that having a presence in the headset vertical is extremely important for our brand. Interestingly, the company has recently enetered the smart watch market vertical in the country as well. The company had said that it was keen on keeping the prices of its first smart watch under Rs 5,000 category.
Manvendra Chandola had told Electronics For You that Riversong’s first smartwatch was available across 1000 retailers in the country. The company was also planning to add more partners in its distribution network. Riversong may also launch a circular shaped smartwatch in July 2019 in India.
Riversong’s official statement read, “Array L is uniquely designed to provide the best quality sound and is extremely comfortable to fit in the ear. Equipped with the latest Bluetooth version, the headset has a wide compatibility feature. It operates within 10 meters when connected to a device with high connectivity. Array L provides 4 hours of battery talk/play time.”
