Sony India Launches Two New Headphones

Sony India has launched two new headphone WH-XB400 and WH-CH510 in its audio segment. Sony will sell both the headphones at Rs 3,990 from 26th September. Sony plans to sell the two new headphones in all Sony Center offline as well as through e-commerce channels.

Sony India has also announced its partnership with National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC) and KEDMan Skilling Pvt. Ltd. (a joint venture between Kunskapsskolan Eduventures and Manav Rachna Educational Institutions) to provide job opportunities to candidates from their talent pool. Ahead of the upcoming festival season, Sony will provide product training to the candidates and impart necessary behavioral skills which will include specialized customer handling.

We are creating industry best training modules to provide technical knowledge and impart soft skills to these candidates to enhance customer service experience at our shop front.”

Features of the new headphones

The company’s official statement says, “WI-XB400 headphones enhance all your low-end frequencies for exceptional bass, while maintaining vocal clarity, lifting every track with wave after wave of thundering rhythm.” Sony also claims that WI-XB400 headphones come with a 15-hour battery life and the WH-CH510 supports 35 hours of battery life.

The headphones also come with the option of quick charge for 10 minutes for 60 minutes or 90 minutes playback according to Sony. The headphones are equipped with built in Google Assistant and users can use their voice to access the music of their choice. “The WI-XB400 comes with magnetic buds while the WH-CH510 comes with swivel earcups make it easy to safely pack them away in your bag” according to the official statement from Sony.
