Sony has unveiled its latest addition to the family of wireless noise cancelling headphones in India. Christened, WI-C600N neckband headphones, the company claims that these headphones enable noise cancelling via one push artificial intelligence noise cancelling feature.
Company’s official statement read. “No Lengthy wires, no noise, the WI-C600N Headphones are made for everyday commuting, the WI-C600N comes jam-packed with superior wireless sound quality and noise cancelling features. Digital noise cancellation with One Push Artificial Intelligence Noise-Cancelling (AINC) lets you listen to nothing but your music when you’re on the move.”
Price wars
Interestingly, a lot of companies in India are offering noise cancelling headphones in prices below Rs 5,000. Tagg Inferno noise cancelling headphones are retailing for Rs 2,374 on a popular e-commerce portal in the country, while Skull Candy is offering Ink’s Bluetooth headset at Rs 2,199 on the same portal.
Sony is claiming a best buy price of Rs 10,990 for its latest wireless noise cancelling headphones. It’s official statement read, “Whether it is travelling on a crowded train or on a long bus journey, Sony’s noise cancelling technology eliminates loud distractions to give you a peaceful commute.”
Sony WI-C600N neckband headphones features
The WI-C600N comes equipped with DSEE (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine), a technology developed by Sony which enhances the sound quality of compressed audio files by restoring high-range sound removed by the compression process. These weigh 34 gram.
WI-C600N’s battery, as per the company, offers up to 6.5 hours of playback time with noise cancellation on, and up to 7.5 hours in noide-cancellation off mode. These come equipped 6-mm drivers.
Sony’s official statement read, “With the WI-C600N, users can go completely hands-free while making calls or listening to music as it comes with a built-in microphone and is compatible with Google Assistant and Siri.”
