Crossloop Launches Portable Bluetooth Speaker in India

Crossloop Volar Portable Bluetooth Speaker

Crossloop has announced the launch of Volar Bluetooth speaker in India. Priced at Rs 3,499, the company seems to be targeting the millennial generation in India to drive sales of this speaker.

Shubham Khare, CEO, Crossloop India, said “Today’s younger generation is driven by itchy feet and a restless soul. Interestingly, a lot of new and old consumer electronic companies have started retailing portable Bluetooth speakers in India in the last six months. Toreto, one among these, have even recently tied up with Rannvijay Singh as its brand ambassador. As a matter of fact, portable Bluetooth speakers are being retailed for prices as low as Rs 600 on various e-commerce portals in the country.

The size of Bluetooth speakers market

The global Bluetooth speaker market, as per a report by Report Buyer, is projected to generate revenues of more than $8 billion by 2023, growing at a CAGR of over 10 per cent during 2018-2023. The report provides market share both in terms of revenue and unit shipment values.

It read, “The increasing focus on the development of low power mode, HD data streaming, and improvement in the range is boosting the adoption of Bluetooth technology in the global market. The development of the residential sector and rise in awareness about these devices in emerging countries in APAC and other regions will help players expand their businesses in these countries.”

Crossloop Volar speaker features

Volar runs on built-in battery and offers Bluetooth wireless connection for accessibility. The speaker supports hands-free calling and for non-Bluetooth devices it comes equipped with a 3.5mm audio cable and Aux-in-Jack. It can be operated within 10m wireless connectivity range.

Crossloop’s official statement read, “Paired with a carryloop, the IPX4 dust and waterproof speaker, snaps to all kinds of stuff, when you are on the move. The speaker lasts for upto 12 hrs on full charge at 80 per cent volume. With great Hi–resolution sound, at 5W RMS output with passive sub-woofer, enjoy the high bass without distortion at high volumes.”
