Roav by Anker has launched its advanced Dashcam,‘Dashcam C2 Pro’. It is priced at Rs. 15,490 and comes with built-in Wifi, GPS and an app.

“We are excited to bring this Dashcam to India, we see a huge need for it. Globally this has been one of the key best sellers for us, and we hope to replicate the same in India. Overall the Indian Markets are still warming up for the Dashcams but we believe 2020 will make the roads turn,” said Gopal Jeyraj – Country Head India & SAARC.

NightHawk technology

The camera supports the total night vision with the Sony Starvis sensor and NightHawk technology. It has Ambarella A12 chipset, 5 lens elements, and Wide Dynamic Range image balancing. The company said that the wide-angle view aided by an f/1.9 wide-angle aperture lens captures 4 lanes of traffic at once that allows the driver to see the whole road and not just the Car. It also allows recording speeding license plates up to 30 feet away in low-light conditions.

The built-in GPS helps the device to automatically track the route and speed of every journey. It is equipped with a G-Sensor (Gravity sensor) and also comes with the Roav app. The company claims that the app quickly downloads and manages videos, for easy viewing and sharing. The Dashcam is packaged with a 32GB Micro SD Card.

The Dashcam is designed with a steel frame to disperse heat away from sensitive internal circuits for extreme temperature performance. The company said that the DashCam C2 Pro operates in temps ranging from -4℉ to 158℉ when plugged in or from 32℉ to 158℉ on battery power.
