Designed to save users money, time and energy, the HID FARGO HDP6600 high definition printer/encoder reduces upto 50 per cent time in printing the first ID card, whereas doubling total throughput as compared to several alternatives.
The company has entirely reengineered the concept of retransfer printing and redesigned the new printer from ground up to quicken high-volume and quality printing, deliver best-in-class energy efficiency and lower the printing cost per card. The HID FARGO HDP6600 printer is easy to service, affordable to operate and more flexible across a broad range of applications.

Key features and benefits
By merging patent-pending iON™ technology with other advancements to allow simultaneous printing of film and card retransfer processes, HID Global has achieved breakthrough card throughput speeds. This unique method cuts down time the printer takes for printing the first card to an industry-low of 60 seconds, reduces average annual wait times by around 20 hours for laminated and printed cards whereas enabling total throughput of up to 230 cards an hour.
Besides, it eliminates the requirement for constant transfer roller heating, enhance reliability while cutting use of energy. The HDP6600 printer features true 600 DPI resolution and precision colour panel registration that enables crisper barcode edges, sharper text and more vibrant colors.
The new printer by HID uses a multi-tasking architecture that is backed by a full gigabyte of memory to allow faster card throughput speeds. The printer is designed in such a manner that it is easier to access and service the card path and film as well as ribbon drawer assemblies.
