HMD has announced a plethora of launch offers with the Nokia 7.1 Smartphone. These offers seem to be tailored to drive Nokia 7.1 smartphone sales in the country

HMD Global, on Friday announced that the new Nokia 7.1 will go on sale starting 7th December 2018 in India. The company will be selling the smartphone through mobile retailers in India and on Nokia website.
The brand is projecting ‘PureDisplay’ screen and ‘Zeiss Optics’ cameras as USPs of the Nokia 7.1 smartphone. The latest Nokia smartphone seems targeted at the millennial generation.
Launch offers to boost Nokia 7.1 smartphone sales
An official statement made by HMD Global claims that Airtel prepaid customers on Nokia 7.1 will get 1TB of 4G data on eligible plans starting Rs. 199 and Airtel postpaid customers can enjoy additional data of 120 GB along with three months of Netflix subscription and one year of Amazon Prime subscription on plans starting Rs. 499 (T&C).
It also said that consumers purchasing Nokia 7.1 using HDFC Bank Credit and Debit cards on EMI transactions done through Pinelabs terminals in offline stores will receive a 10 per cent cashback (T&C).

Nokia 7.1 smartphone features
The Nokia 7.1 is the first smartphone to come with ‘PureDisplay’ screen technology that offers HDR10 cinematic quality. It is equipped with a 5.84-inches screen in 19:9 ratio display. Nokia claims that its dedicated 16-bit engine, processes millions of pixels per second to provide the best possible display quality in all conditions.
The Nokia 7.1 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 Mobile Platform. The USB type-C fast charging port charges 50 percent of phone’s battery back in 30 mins, as per the company.
It comes equipped with Zeis Optics 12MP and 5MP dual cameras with 2PD enable fast and accurate auto-focus. The camera setup supports HDR photography, ‘bokeh’ mode as well as front portrait shots. Nokia says that electronic image stabilisation (EIS) technology helps take steady shots. The Nokia 7.1 joins the line-up of Nokia smartphones in the Android One family.
