pic credits – Huami AmazfitHuami has announced the launch of its latest Amazfit Verge smartwatch in the Indian market. The China-based corporation will be selling Huami Amazfit Verge on Amazon exclusively. It as been introduced at a price of Rs 11,999.

Huami Amazfit features
Huami has equipped the Amazfit Verge with a 1.3-inch AMOLED display. It also comes equipped with heart rate monitoring features. The smartwatch has built-in GPS, ability to track distance, time, pace, calories, speed and elevation levels.
The brand claims that the heart rate tracking optical sensor consumes 80 percent less power and is accurate up to 98 percent. It also supports 11 different activity modes and 13 built-in watch-faces. The company said that three of these watch-faces, were designed in partnership with San Francisco based Territory Studio.
Sensors fitted on the Amazfit Verge include a optical heart rate sensor, an acceleration sensor, a gyroscope, a geomagnetic sensor and an air pressure sensor. Huami Amazfit Verge can track sports including running, walking, cycling, elliptical climbing and skiing.The device is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor coupled with 4 GB built-in flash memory.
Huami has launched the Amazfit Verge in three colours choices in India. These include Sky Grey, Twilight Blue and Moonlight White. The smartwatch has the ability to offer up to 5 days of battery life on a single charge, claims the company.
