Meizu has introduced Meizu Pop true-wireless earbuds and EP52 Lite wireless earphones in India. The brand will be selling both its new launches through Amazon only. Meizu Pop true-wireless earbuds carry a price tag of Rs 5,999 while EP52 Lite wireless earphones are priced at Rs 1,999.
The launch of these earphones follow the recent launch of Meizu smartphones in the country. Meizu seems focused on capturing the smartphone as well as smartphone accessories market in the country.
Meizo Pop True Wireless earbuds
Meizo true wireless earbuds feature touch sensitive actions that, as per the company, allows a user to control volume, change music tracks, answer calls and activate voice assistant. The latest wireless earbuds from Meizu come equipped with a 85 mAh battery. This battery, as per Meizu, offers up to three hours of music playback time. The carry case offers up to 700 mAh of additional charge.
These earbuds weigh 5.8 gram and can be paired with smartphones supporting Bluetooth 5.2 version. Meizu claims that Graphene diaphragm offers optimised low-frequency sound and balanced highs. These Meizu earbuds are claimed to be water-resistant (IPX5 certification).
Meizu EP52 Lite earphones
More affordable than Pop True Wireless Earbuds, Meizu EP52 Lite earphones are meant for outdoor use like running and cycling. The device is interconnected via a band that wraps around a user’s neck. The EP52 Lite comes equipped with Qualcomm’s aptX technology and supports Bluetooth 4.2 version.
The wireless earphones offer a sensitivity of 106dB @ 1kHz, an impedance of 32 ohms and a total output of 10 mW. The EP52 Lite, as per the company, offers up to 8 hours of music playback on a single charge cycle. Meizu also claims that these offer a standby time of up to 150 hours when connected.
