Micromax has announced the launch of two latest smartphones in India. Christened Micromax Infinity N11 and Infinity N12, the brand has priced the former at Rs 8,999, and the latter at Rs 9,999 in the country. Micromax said that its latest smartphones will be retailed through offline market. There is no clarity whether the brand will be using online sales channels to sell these smartphones or not.
Vikas Jain, co-founder, Micromax Informatics, said, “We are extremely excited to launch two powerful variants of smartphones under this Infinity N series.”

A tweet made through the official Micromax Twitter handle reads, “Introducing Infinity N series with a stunning 15.72cm(6.19) 18.9:9 screen ratio HD+ NOTCH Display, 13MP+5MP rear camera with AI and a 4000mAh battery to give you the best smartphone experience.”
Micromax N11 and N12 smartphone features
Apart from some differences in design, front camera and RAM size, there is not much difference in the two smartphones.
Both these smartphones sport a 6.19-inches HD+ display that offers a screen resolution of 1500 x 720 pixels. The screens have been placed in the 18:9 aspect ratio. Micromax has mated these phones to octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 chipset clocked at 2.0GHz.
The Micromax Infinity N12 comes powered by a 3 GB RAM and offers 32 GB of internal storage, whereas the Infinity N11 smartphone features a 2 GB RAM and offers 32 GB of internal storage. Users can further expand the memory by up to 128 GBs via microSD card slot.
The Micromax Infinity N12 and Infinity N11 come equipped with 4000 mAh battery which, as per Micromax, gives 18 hours of talk time and 500 hours of standby time. Both of these are based on Android 8.1 Oreo OS and company’s custom UI.
Micromax has equipped a fingerprint sensor on the rear panels of both the phones. These latest Micromax smartphones support 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, AGPS, WiFi, dual-SIM and have a dedicated microSD card slot each. The phones also feature 3.5mm audio jack and microUSB ports.
The Micromax Infinity N12 and Infinity N11 come equipped with a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor at the back. However, the front camera on the N12 is a 16 megapixel shooter, whereas the front camera on the N11 smartphone is a 8 megapixel shooter.
