Ambrane has entered the personal care segment by launching groomers and trimmers for men in India. It will sell the products through e-commerce platform Flipkart in the first phase and Tatacliq along with the company website.
Ashok Rajpal, director, Ambrane India says, “Currently the personal care Market in India is only with the handful of dominant players and its Monopoly. The market is buzzing for both men and women and the attention to self, to look good and feel good shall open these markets further.”
20 new products by the end of this year
Ambrane says it will launch 20 new products by the end of this year. It says the launch will help to fulfil the grooming aspirations of not only metro but also non-metro consumers. The company further adds that it will invest over Rs 10 crores on product, marketing and placement establishing both online and offline
Rajpal further adds, “We shall focus on our online strength to establish ourselves. We aim to be among top five brands of the personal care, industry, delivering value led products for the millennial audience.”
