Goldmedal Electricals, a home-grown fast moving electrical goods (FMEG) company, has introduced the latest version of its IoT enabled i-Touch Wi-Fi range of switches. The company is calling these switch as i-Touch Wi-Fi 6 Module. Goldmedal is retailing these switches at starting prices of Rs 9,999 in India.
“Through the launch of our i-Touch Wi-Fi 6 Module smart switch, we are providing consumers with the ability to control all the electrical appliances in their home through the touch of a button / voice command, “shared Kishan Jain, director, Goldmedal Electricals.
The company is retailing this IoT enabled switch via retail stores in India. These, as per Goldmedal, are easy to install. The company said that the switch can be operated via remote control, mobile app and voice commands.

The Goldmedal i-Touch Wi-Fi 6 module switch is the latest entrant in Goldmedal’s home automation portfolio. This product is similar to Goldmedal’s other home automation products and can be installed directly in an existing junction box using the same wiring. The setup process, as per the company, is hassle-free, without the need for replacement of the existing wiring.
It includes, six switches, a fan regulator, two USB sockets and an international socket. Company’s official statement read, “This is a complete system in itself. Install this in a regular junction box and you can easily control almost every electrical fitting in any room easily.”
