Haier has introduced its new range of classic dual zone wine cellars, WS-137GDAI and WS-53GDAI, in India. The company is retailing the WS-137GDAI model at Rs 12,5000 and the WS-53GDAI model at Rs 47,000 here.
“With wine drinking gaining popularity in India, high-end wine cellars are carving a strong niche for themselves in the domestic market. With our newly crafted dual zone wine cellars, we want to create a unique experience for our consumers that complements their lifestyle,” shared Eric Braganza, President Haier India.
Haier introduces one in July 2019 as well
The company had also introduced a single cabinet wine cellar in India back in July 2019. Interestingly, the likes of Croma and Koryo are also offering wine cellars in India. While Croma, a consumer electronics chain that operates under the umbrella of Tata, has one listed for Rs 22,990 on its e-commerce portal, Amazon India has several on Amazon India website. Some of these include models by Kaff and Culinair.
In comparison to the ones launched now, Haier has introduced this single cabinet wine cellar at a price of 28,990. However, the ones introduced today feature capacities to store up to 137 and 53 bottles respectively.
“Designed with premium aesthetic sense, the new high-end wine cellars are packed with innovative technologies that have been introduced keeping in mind the Indian weather and climate. The intelligently designed interior LED lighting system not only consumes less energy but also helps to maintain a perfect ambient temperature in the wine cellars. The internal LED display is also equipped to regulate the temperature between 4 to 18 degrees, which is conducive to preserving the wine quality,” read Haier’s official statement.
It continued, “The new Haier wine cellars are equipped with state-of-the-art-design, to store reds and whites in an ideal environment for perfect preservation and ageing of vintage wines.”
