The company is claiming its Healsio Steam Oven to be the first super-heated oven in the country
Sharp has announced the launch of Healsio steam oven and a bread maker appliance in India. The company said that it is aiming to expand its footprint in the country with these launches. The company will be focusing on 4 major categories viz – Air, Water, Home Appliances and Personal Care.
Speaking on the launch, a representative from Sharp, quoted, “The new launches will open up new avenues of growth for Sharp, while focusing majorly on consumer benefits. With ever increasing demand in the consumer durables segment, India is becoming one of the leading markets across the globe. We are fully committed to provide and introduce a new state of the art technology for our consumers. With these launches, we are expected to capture 50% market share in respective segments.”
The company has launched the Healsio Super-heated Oven at a price of Rs 64,00, while the bread maker has been priced Rs 12,900. Sharp is retailing both these products using its offline sales and distribution networks. This Japan based company has a tie-up with around 500 sales partners in India.

Healsio Super heated Oven: Sharp claims that its Healsio oven combines the convenience and efficiency of a microwave with the versatility of convection oven. The company said that its unique technology of super heated steam to help you enjoy keeps the flavour and nutritional value of the food intact.
Bread Maker: This latest bread maker from the house of Sharp is a fully automatic product. Sharp claims that it can help in making different types of dough from traditional Indian Roti to French bread and is. Sharp Bread Maker features an LCD control display screen with 12 program menus.
