Tata Sky Launches Binge+ Android Set-Top Box in India

Tata Sky has launched Tata Sky Binge+ Android set-top box in India. The company will be selling the set top box at Rs 5,999. It is offering a offering 30 day free trial of the Tata Sky Binge subscription.

As per the company, the set-top box is powered by Android TV. It also works with Google Assistant voice search. After the trial period ends, the customers will have to pay Rs 249 per month. The company says that the Tata Sky Binge+ set-top box will let customers watch both live TV and OTT content on one device. The OTT content can be accessed by connecting the box to the internet.

Catchup feature

The set-top box comes with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. It runs on Android TV 9.0 Pie platform. An user an download over 5000 apps and games from the Google Play Store as per the company. It also comes with a Catchup feature that will let consumers access content from the past seven days.

The company will offer streaming service from Zee5, Hotstar, Prime Video, Netflix, Eros Now, Hungama and SunNxt applications along with Tata Sky. It will also offer Tata Sky Binge subscribers with over 5,000 titles from the Tata Sky VOD library.
