Xiaomi India has launched a protective case called Mi Matte Hard Case for the Redmi Note 8 Pro. It has priced the case at Rs 499 and will be selling it through its website. The company will be selling the case in dual-tone black colour option only. The case comes with a dual-black finish separated by a thin red line. Xiaomi says that the matte premium finish offers superior grip.
Xiaomi has recently put the Redmi Note 8 Pro and Redmi Note 8 on open sale through Amazon and its official website. Both the phones were launched in October in India.
Quad-rear camera setup
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro comes with a 6.53-inch Full HD+ LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has up to 8GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. The storage can be expanded through a microSD card slot.
It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T gaming processor. It has a quad-rear camera setup. It includes a 64MP main shooter, an 8MP ultrawide lens and dual 2MP lens for macro and depth sensing. At the front, the phone has a 20MP camera for selfies.
4,500mAh battery
The phone also has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. It is backed by a 4,500mAh battery with support for fast charging technology. On the connectivity front, the phone supports WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and 4G LTE. It runs on MIUI 10 based on Android Pie.
