- Xiaomi claims that the lamp has a life of up to 11 years

Xiaomi has launched the Mi Smart Bedside Lamp 2 smart light in India. It will be available through crowdfunding for Rs 2,299 after which Xiaomi will sell it for Rs 2,499.
The smart lamp has the capacity to produce 16 million colours. It comes with support for voice controls via Alexa, Google Assistant, as well as Apple HomeKit.
Xiaomi has set a goal of 2000 units and if the company is able to meet its target funding then the smart lamp will be available via open sale.
Life of up to 11 years
It also comes with 400 Lumens output and has multiple ambient lighting presets. The company claims that the lamp has a life of up to 11 years and also has a touch-sensitive panel for volume controls.
Features like colour adjustment and scheduling on the smart lamp can be used by using the Mi Home app. There is also a flow mode that automatically changes the light colour.
Till now, Xiaomi has already achieved 56 per cent of its goal, with 1,000 units. The company will start shipping the Mi Smart Bedside Lamp 2 from December 3, 2019.
