YAS 109Yamaha Music India has launched YAS 109 and YAS 209 soundbars in India. It will sell the two soundbars at Rs 23,990 and Rs 35,490 respectively.
Keegan Paes, assistant manager marketing, Yamaha Music India Pvt. Ltd, said, “The Yamaha Music YAS 109 and YAS 209 soundbars with built-in Alexa voice control will set a new benchmark in the Indian audio market. The powerful blend of immersive and life-like audio experience, an ultra slim design and an array of advanced features, will certainly make it a treat for music and movie enthusiasts.”
YAS-109 has a built-in subwoofer
Yamaha says the soundbars come with built-in Alexa voice control that will make it much easier for the user to connect, control and enjoy music. The soundbars are equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity to access Spotify connect, Amazon music and Alexa-supported music services. The YAS-109 has a built-in subwoofer while the YAS-209 has a wireless subwoofer. It will sell the soundbars through authorized Yamaha AV dealers.
The remotes on the soundbars have a dedicated button for Alexa control. As per Yamaha, the Alexa comes with volume lowering capabilities which decreases the volume of the music while receiving a voice command. Yamaha claims Alexa can be muted or turned off completely based on user preference.
4K high dynamic range
As per Yamaha, the soundbars come with HDMI input and output with ARC. The soundbars support 4K high dynamic range video with HDMI-connected 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray disc players as per the company. The soundbars come with an optical input to use with other devices without HDMI connections.
YAS 109 and YAS 209 soundbars are equipped with Dolby Digital and DTS Digital Surround and DTS Virtual:X claims Yamaha. They also have Yamaha clear voice technology that improves audibility and clarity during action scenes and live sports programs as per Yamaha.
