Tagg has announced the launch of Turbo-20000 portable power bank in the country. This is the first time that the company is retailing a portable power bank in India.
Company’s official statement read, “Tagg Turbo 20000 is designed with a focus on the millennials who seek devices that not only perform well but also look stylish.”

Power bank business opportunity in India
A forecast report by Techsci Research had estimated the portable power bank business opportunity to be worth $255 million by 2023. The report read, “Rising disposable income, growing urban population and increasing penetration of smartphones and tablets are some of the other major factors that are expected to have a positive impact on the country’s power bank market over the coming years.”
It added,”Moreover, demand for power banks is anticipated to emanate from consumers who travel for long hours and need to charge their devices on the go.”
Tagg 20000 mAh power bank price
The company is retailing its first power bank at a price of ₹2,499. It said that users can buy these power banks from Amazon and Tagg’s India website.
A lot of brands, including Indian and global, are offering 20000 mAh power banks at prices below ₹1500 in the country. Syska is retailing a 20000 mAh power bank at ₹1499 on a popular e-commerce portal while Mi’s 20000 mAh power bank is available for ₹1501 on the same e-commerce portal.
Interestingly, there are companies that are offering these at prices below ₹2000 as well. Lapguard LG803 20800 mAH lithium-ion power bank is available for ₹999 on the same portal. Powerest is also retailing a 20000 mAh power bank at prices below ₹800 on the same portal.
Tagg 20000 mAh power bank features
Tagg has equipped the power bank with six lithium-ion cells. It features dual device charging option and universal compatibility. The power bank supports 2.4A+2.4A output charging ports.
The company said that its Turbo power bank comes equipped with multi-protect safety suit that helps avoid overheating and voltage fluctuations. The LED light bar indicator displays the available charging capacity. Tagg is claiming it to be impact and temperature tested.
