PTron will keep challenging high end brands by offering futuristic products at affordable prices, says the company CEO Ameen Khwaja
PTron has introduced its latest offering, Spunk earbuds, at a price tag of Rs 2,999 in India. The brand is claiming that it is one of the first companies in India to offer smart earbuds with Bluetooth v5.0 technology and IPX5 level dust, sweat and water-resistant features at that price with six months warranty.
The brand will be selling its latest earbuds via PTron website, Flipkart and LatestOne e-commerce portals. PTron has launched Spunk earbuds in black colour only.
Speaking at the Spunk earbuds launch, Ameen Khwaja, founder and CEO, PTron, said, “The product quality, look and features of Spunk showcases the technological capabilities of PTron’s R&D team which has been the backbone of our core strengths. PTron will continue to develop and offer such futuristic products at affordable prices challenging the high-end brands.”

Carrying a sporty and ergonomic design pattern, PTron Spunk earbuds feature smart touch control, which as per the company, enables users to control music and answer phone calls with just a finger tap.
PTron Spunk also offers auto-pairing, Bluetooth compatibility for each earbud to different smart phones or tablets being used by two people at the same time. The company is saying that its latest earbuds offer 4D sound quality with external sound reduction.
These earbuds come with a magnetic charging power-case that promises 500 mAh capacity. PTron claims talk-time of up to 4 hrs and a standby time of up to 160 hrs with Spunk earbuds. Each earbud in the set draws power from its own 70 mAh battery. The recharge time for the battery, as claimed by the company, is 1.5 hours.
Spunk earbuds offer Bluetooth connectivity up to a range of 10 meters (open space). These earbuds are claimed to be IPX5 level water resistant. The list of audio protocols supported by these include – HFP1.6, HSP1.1, A2DP1.2, A2DP, AVRCP1.5, SPP1.0 and PBAP1.0.
PTron offers products like Bluetooth headsets, portable Bluetooth speakers, wired headsets, chargers and cables, smart watches and networking products in India.
