OnePlus has launched OnePlus TV Q1 and OnePlus TV Q1 Pro at New Delhi. The Chinese electronics manufacturer also launched OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro smartphones in India with the TV launch.
The company will retail the TVs through online channel Amazon, OnePlus.in as well as offline OnePlus Exclusive stores from the end of this month. It plans to sell the OnePlus TV Q1 for Rs 69,900 and the OnePlus TV Q1 Pro for Rs 99,900.

Many smartphone manufacturing companies have entered the smart TV segment like Xiaomi, Samsung, LG, Motorola and Micromax. Households in India are at a cusp of transition and a shift in preference has been witnessed from conventional TV sets to smart TV sets.
Features of the TVs
The OnePlus TV Q1 comes with a 55-inch 4K QLED screen with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:9. The OnePlus TV Q1 Pro is equipped with a 55-inch QLED display with a 100Hz refresh rate and 90 local dimming zones.
The TVs are equipped with a remote that can trigger Google Assistant. The TVs will have a button just for Amazon prime video. The TVs supports Dolby Vision, Dolby Digital and HDR10. The displays have a ‘Gamma Colour Magic’ image processor with wide colour gamut of 100 percent on NTSC and 96 percent on DCI-P3.
The OnePlus TVs will run on Oxygen Play system based on Android TV with updates for three years according to the company. The home screen features on the TV will include various categories like movies, music and kids to choose from. OnePlus TV Q1 comes with dual speakers with a total of 20W sound output and OnePlus TV Q1 Pro has a 50W speaker unit comes with eight speakers with a 50W sound output.
The TVs will also have a search bar option on the top left where a user can search for title or a real time program. The company says that the TVs will come WiFi sharing, TypeSync, search and play, screenshots sharing, quick app switch, smart volume control and trackpad control.
Offers to avail
The company is offering Rs 4000 and Rs 5000 instant discounts on purchase of the OnePlus TV Q1 and OnePlus TV Q1 Pro respectively by paying through HDFC bank credit and debit cards. The TVs will also be available on no-cost EMI of up to six months on Amazon India across major debit and credit cards.
