Panasonic Launches Kaizen TV Series Powered by Android TV

Panasonic Sanyo Kaizen TV

Panasonic has launched Sanyo branded Kaizen TVs starting at prices of Rs 12,999 in India. Powered by Android TV, Panasonic is retailing these latest Sanyo smart TVs through Amazon’s e-commerce portal in the country. In 2011, Panasonic acquired Sanyo making it a wholly owned subsidiary.

Pankaj Rana, business chief, Sanyo, Panasonic India, said, “With the vision of making technology accessible to all, we at Sanyo, are delighted to introduce Kaizen Series which delivers superior functionality and infinite content opportunities to our users. Equipped with the latest Android technology that comes with inbuilt Chromecast feature and Google Assistant for Voice Search, this new range aims at changing the way people view content and interact with their TV sets.”

Retailing through Amazon India

The company is retailing all these latest Panasonic Sanyo smart TVs through Amazon India. Company’s official statement read, “Equipped with Android Pie 9.0, the new series extends a superior TV viewing experience along with Google’s user-friendly and dynamic interface. The 32 inch HDR TV is priced at Rs 12,999 and the 43 inch 4K TV is priced at Rs 28,999. They will be available to customers on Amazon India.”

Panasonic Sanyo’s official statement read, “Sanyo’s Android TVs are designed to give a premium cinematic TV viewing experience to users. With a host of must-have features, the new range stands out with its IPS super-bright LED display and revolutionary bezel-less design with flame retardant VO material. The models are equipped with the latest Android Pie 9.0 software with built-in Chromecast for content casting so that viewers can seamlessly mirror their favourite movies, shows, and photos directly from their mobile device to their Sanyo Android TVs. With the voice search capabilities of the Kaizen series customers can ask their TV for the latest blockbuster, check the score or even dim the lights. The 43-inch in the 4K range and 32-inch in the HDR range will be the hero models for Sanyo in the festive season.”

It continued, “With its simple yet innovative design and great functionality offering, the TVs give viewers an unrivaled user experience by supporting apps such as Amazon Prime Video and Netflix. To give quick access to content, Sanyo has added a dedicated Netflix button on the TV’s remote. Besides, the remote also sports a Google Assistant button that provides a total hands-free AI voice interaction and allows users to control the TV through voice commands. Adding to the features, the new series boasts superior 20W box speakers with digital signal processing and dolby digital, which ensures the best acoustics in your living room.”
