Amazon has launched its Fire TV Edition of Smart TVs in India in partnership with Onida. The company has introduced two models, 32-inch HD for Rs 12,999 and 43-inch Full HD for Rs 21,999. Smart TVs will be available starting December 20, 2019.

With Fire TV Edition’s excellent picture quality and immersive sound experience, customers can enjoy all their favourite content in one place, whether its streaming content from popular apps like Prime Video, Hotstar, Sony Liv, Zee5 and more, or switching to DTH/cable connection for live TV,” said Parag Gupta, Head of Amazon Devices India
Sold millions of Fire TV Stick in India
He further stated, “We have sold millions of Fire TV Stick in India and can’t wait to hear from our TV customers about their experience with Onida Fire TV Edition.”
The company informed that the Smart TVs come with Fire TV built-in, meaning that users can watch their favourite movies and TV shows Prime Video, Hotstar, Netflix, YouTube, Sony Liv, Zee5, Sun Nxt and more.
Available in two options
They are available in two options, 32-inch HD model and 43-inch Full HD model with a contrast ratio of 1200:1 and support up to 300 nits brightness. They have Dolby Digital Plus and DTS TruSurround sound. This Edition comes with Alexa voice remote through which one can ask Amazon Alexa to perform various tasks and content.
They are powered by a quad-core processor. It also comes with built-in WiFi, 3 HDMI ports, 1 USB port, and 1 earphone port to connect DTH or cable set-top boxes, gaming consoles, soundbars, and home theatre systems.
