TCL has launched an 215.9 cm (85-inch) P8M 4K AI TV in India ahead of the festive season. It is selling the TV at a price of Rs 1,99,990 at its store. TCL is also offering discounts on its P8 TV series to attract more customers during the festive season sales.
Mike Chen said, TCL India country manager said, “As the seasonal festive cheer spread across India, we are delighted to participate in the festive frenzy and spread the cheer by introducing exhilarating offers and discounts for our users.”
4K UHD panel
TCL says the TV comes with Google services like Google play games, Google play movies and YouTube. It also has 4K UHD panel and supports Dolby Audio. On the connectivity side, it supports Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n 2T2R. It runs on Android 9 Pie OS.
TCL is offering the 109.22 inch (43-inch) 43P8B TV for Rs 24,990 and 127 cm (50-inch) 50P8E TV is available for Rs 29,990. It is selling the 139.7 cm (55-inch) 55P8 TV for Rs 31,990 at Rs 31,990, the 165.1 cm (65-inc)h 65P8 TV for Rs 49,990 and the 165.1 cm( 65-inch) 65P8E TV model for Rs 51,990. The company has also extended the warranty period to three years.
Number two TV brand in India by 2021
Chen had recently said that TCL will work in order to become the number two TV brand in India by 2021. He added, “We have had a successful run in India, growing from a mere 1.7 per cent of market share to 5.3 per cent in just six months. We owe this success to our loyal fan base who elevated our status from a low-priced Smart TV brand to a technology leader in India’s market for consumer durables.”
The company claims the TVs provide over 950,000 hours of content in digital entertainment in 25 languages and in five genres. It has partnered with companies like Netflix, YouTube, Hotstar, JioCinema, Eros Now, Zee5, Voot, AltBalaji for content as per TCL.
