Chinese electronics company TCL has reduced price of three Smart TVs ahead of the festive season to increase sales. The discounted models will be made available by TCL through both online and offline models.
Mike Chen had recently said that TCL will work in order to become the number two TV brand in India by 2021. He had further added, “We have had a successful run in India, growing from a mere 1.7 per cent of market share to 5.3 per cent in just six months. We owe this success to our loyal fan base who elevated our status from a low-priced Smart TV brand to a technology leader in India’s market for consumer durables.”
40S62FS model at Rs 14,999
According to TCL, the first price cut will be on 40S62FS model. The TV which was earlier available for Rs 17,990, will now be sold by the company at Rs 14,999. The 65P8 model will be sold by TCL at Rs 47,999 while the 43P65US model will be sold at Rs 20,990.
The 40S62FS comes equipped with a 101 cm (40-inch) Full HD display along with 60Hz refresh rate according to TCL. It has a dual-core processor and it is loaded with apps like Netflix and YouTube claims TCL.
Built in Alexa
TCL says the 43P65US model comes with a built-in Amazon Alexa. It has a 109 cm (43-inch) 4K UHD display with 60Hz refresh rate. It features HDR Pro and Micro dimming technology as well according to TCL. The company claims the TV has a 20W sound output along with Dolby digital sound. It runs on a Linux-based operating system and comes with Amazon Prime Video pre-installed. It supports two HDMI ports and one USB port.
The company claims the 65P8 model runs on Android 9.0 Pie and it comes with AI Fairfield technology, which enhances the image and sound quality for an immersive TV viewing experience.
