Garmin India has started retailing its latest smartwatch Forerunner 45 in India. Priced Rs 19,990, Garmin is retailing its latest smartwatch through offline as well as online sales channels at the moment. These channels include Amazon, Paytm, Tata Cliq in the online sapce and Johnson Watch Co., Indo Watch Gallery, Samay Watches and Shoppers Stop retail outlets in the offline channel.

In-built GPS and emergency tracking
This latest smart watch by Garmin features in-built GPS and emergency tracking features. Garmin said that apart from getting real time data on how fast and how far a user is going, the GPS features can also be used to track users in emergency situations.
Garmin Forerunner smartwatch features support for sports profiles including running, cycling, indoor track, treadmill, elliptical, cardio and yoga. It also comes loaded with Garmin Coach 2.0. Garmin says that this feature acts as a personal running coach for users.
This built-in GPS smartwatch has an incident detection feature that as per the company sends out real-time location in case of an emergency to the predefined contacts. It also allows family and friends to live track the loaction of the user wearing it. Garmin sais that Forerunner 45 is equipped with body battery energy monitoring feature. This features collects data to analyze energy reserves in the human body.
